1. The streak started from the third quarter of the SEC champ game.

    2 quarters from UGA
    4 from Miami
    4 from ULL
    4 from Arizona

    total 14
  2. Just seems like a sneaky way to say "we havn't allowed a touchdown in 14 quarters... excluding an INT for a TD."
  3. Not really. The defense hasn't allowed one. It's not their fault that there was a pick-six.
    • The LSU offense has made 34 straight successful trips to the red zone. They have converted 26 touchdowns and 8 field goals.
    • The LSU defense has held 12 of the last 13 opponents to 20 points or less.
    • The LSU defense has not allowed a touchdown in 14 straight quarters…the longest streak in the nation.
    • LSU is the only school in the nation that has not allowed a touchdown this year.
    • QB Russell and WR Bowe have connected on 14 TD passes in their careers.
    • The LSU defense has held their last three opponents under 200 yards of total offense.
    • CB Jonathan Zenon returned an interception for a touchdown in each of the first two games.
    • WR Craig Davis has caught at least one pass in 25 straight games.
    • The LSU offense has gained more than 450 yards of total offense in three straight games.
    • The LSU offense has scored more than 40 points in the last three games.
  4. Please stop. It's only Tuesday and I have work to do. I can't be getting this fired up this early.
  5. Yeah, what he said :angryfire :angryfire
  6. This all sounds sneaky, like Auburn fans build us up all week then if they win on saturday they turn around and say "We broke this streak. We lowered JR's QB rating. We scored a TD. We scored more than 20. We got more than 200 yards of offense. blah blah blah." The only way to counter this is post good stats about Auburn in return. Like:

No Auburn player has been arrested this football season.
  7. I'll be very surprised if Auburn doesn't break our D's TD streak. But I don't expect them to score much. Our defense is too fast, strong, mean, and eager for them to get into the endzone more than once or twice.
  8. I Agree. I want this game to make the SEC look awesome and get one of our teams into the NC game.
