Some points about LSU Football Head Coach Les Miles

1. The point is I wouldn't accuse you of wishing ill will against LSU because you wanted to prove your point. When, exactly, did I start supporting other coaches? If Les Miles feels no pressure from his dumb decisions, nothing gets done. If he had never felt pressure after the Co-DC debacle, I'm not sure he would have fired them

2. Yes you do. You fear losing Miles and LSU making a Curly Hallman type hire.

For those with somewhat of a logical and rational mind yes you are right. For the have become spoiled rotten fans no you are wrong. Whether around in the 90's or not the part of the argument that most of the negative people rely on is that they can't for the life of them believe that this coaching staff and this team could be better than last year.

Good thing the Saints didn't think that way. If I remember correctly they were on fire the year of coming home after Katrina then steadily declined. A few coaching changes, a few personnel changes and poof a Super Bowl winning season. Evidence that one season has nothing to do with the next, and a team can be substantially better with the same head coach.

I do want to point out that not all fans that are looking at the concerns and spelling them out are necessarily negative. They generally bring up legitimate concerns and back them up with solid facts.

 

I thought that myself but have encountered just as many older fans with the same sense of entitlement. The dunce cap looks even sillier on them.

 

About what I thought. Lots of tough talk and no walk. This will be an incredibly amusing thread to pull up in 6 months.

 

More like the first six weeks of the season...that should be plenty.

 

So the season will be determined in 6 weeks? I am not so confident. I would prefer to pass judgement after the games are actually played.

 

yeah no sh!t, first six weeks of the season, we still haven't played Alabama, Ole Miss, Auburn, or Arkansas, i will also go with judgement after the Arkansas game, or hopefully after the bowl game.

 

I think I am looking at this season just about the same as I do all of them. I always look for the good and expect the very best for our guys. I enjoy so much about every game that I never leave a LSU football Sat feeling like a loser no matter what happens on the field. The Gator game in 08 pushed that feeling a little as did the Ole Miss game of 09. Those games are few compared to the Gator game of 07.

I will take each game as it comes but I will say that I think the most important game of the 10 season will be the 1st one. It will set the tone for the return of very good Tiger football to BR!

Zipper, errr Diamond, head and his friends will be out in force if we don't win the first 6 with 50 point margins. It's about them and their ability to enjoy the games and brag to their friends.
