As of right now I see... LSU as a 60/40 favorite over UNC @LSU 65/35 over WVU LSU 55/45 over @Auburn Alabama 55/45 over @LSU @Florida 60/40 over LSU @Arkansas 52/48 over LSU Those are my humble projections, but if we win at home and in the games we are favored, we will have a great year.
I think it is way to early to be looking beyond the UNC game. Many of you will laugh but I think LSU might be the best team in the SEC.:lol::lol: I know but that is what I think could happen. If we show a control running game and be able to hit some 25 to 35 yard down field passes in the 1st game. Mix in some amazing Shep with a D that is quick and very hard to pass on I say bring it!!! No body expected the 08 Bama team to blow up like they did. No body is expecting LSU to blow up in 10 well expect maybe me. :tigereye:
I'm expecting the wins over both Mississippi's, Tennessee, Vandy, McNeese and UL-M. That's the "easy" half. I expect to win one game against either Florida or Alabama. I also expect at least 1 over UNC and WVU, and 1 of Auburn or Arkansas. So if I'm expecting anything, it's 9.5 wins. 9 wins is disappointing and 10 wins is good.
I can go with that but just think about it a little. I am not sure what the Gators are going to bring this year at all. I know Bama will be very good but think how close we played very good Bama teams in 08 and 09. What if we beat both the Gators and Bama, is that a wonderful thought or what.
These topics in the Den are really becoming nauseating. The season hasn't even started and we're already trying to fire Miles...again. Lets see how the season is shaping up after a few weeks before we hang the poor fugger out to dry.
Zipper's been wrong about coaches before... Typed by DHT December 11th, 2008...a little over two years before he went to Miami to watch Payton's Saints win the Super Bowl.
Hope he's just as wrong about Miles The best bet for all LSU fans is that Miles proves all his critics wrong. Starting over with a new HC is not by any imagination a good thing.
