Saying that Clinton was a pussy hound in response to a critique of Bush invading Iraq was something that I objected to. Or saying that Bush wouldn't have had to invade if Clinton had done so himself. But I never tried to hold Bush accountable for things that happened before his time in office like you are trying to do.

And not in my lifetime has either party used such tomfoolery to ram a bill that such a large portion of the country didn't want through into law. That is the problem. Forget the R's and D's for a second. They work for us, or at least they are supposed to. Saying "if you don't like it vote them out" isn't going to cut it. The GD thing is passed and we are stuck with it. I'd love to see the pile of crap repealed but it is a pipe dream and not going to happen. This congress sucks, all of it and to borrow a line from Jack in whatever batman it was "this congress needs an enema "!

You ignore that a large part of the country does approve of the law. The dissent has never had overwhelming numbers, only a small margin, and small margins can change quickly and may already be doing so.

Well you didn't get that from fox thats for sure.

Bottom line is I have met no one, not a single person that is in favor of it and I work in a building that has a few thousand people in it. No I didn't talk to every one of them but if you just listen in the halls you get the picture.

It's a small sample size to represent a big country, amigo.

For testing an attribute the sample size doesn't have to be that large. A statistically valid sample for 300,000,000 people is 60with a confidence level of 99% an estimated error rate of 10% and a precision of 10%.

im really curious as to what the outcome of the lawsuits will be. or actions like the one here in oklahoma where the state house is voting on a bill (that has overwhelming support from both sides of the isle) to put a constitional amendment to the people to voted on that basically says no oklahoman shall be forced to have health care. i dont remember the exact wording, but that is the gist of it. if oklahoma votes in such an amendment to the state constitution, that will set up a court challenge on states rights.
