So what do you guys think of the uniforms?

i left the room for a minute, walked back in and was like who changed the channel. then i realized it was still us. those unis are crap.

 

BURN THEM, BURN THEM, BURN THEM.

Can we change back into the other purple ones? Please?

 

Rancid, putrid, obscene, D-II-like, embarassing, silly, pointless

Purple pants all over again.

Like I said weeks ago, fire whomever was involved in this decision.

 

Don't like them for LSU, although they do look better than I thought. Would be nice for some other team. All the 'purple' looks blue to me.

 

They suck. They suck all the football players athletic ability from the LSU players.

 

Personally I liked them a lot. The play of the team however...now that was putrid. I guess the same superstition around the purple pants can now apply to these uniforms.

i thought i heard the commentator say the lsu unis from this game were going to be auctioned. is that true? if so, we won't have to worry about them anymore. if not, someone should sneak and take them and burn them and then burn them again and then bury them at the center of the earth so no fan ever has to see them again and no player ever has to wear them again and no nike employee will ever mess with our colors again. heh...maybe next time i'll tell ya how i really feel.

 

I think it boils down to this.....They just did not look like LSU. Most of the time you know LSU when you see LSU. When you see highlight shows you usually know immediately when Tiger highlights are on. You see the Purple and Gold and White. I don't know if the players didn't FEEL like LSU in the first half but with those unis they sure didn't look like LSU

 

Maybe the new uniforms were the problem: The Tigers didn't recognize themselves in those horrible uniforms. Didn't look like our Tigers, so didn't play like our Tigers.

Back to normal next week. We'll need all the mojo we can conjure considering the injuries and all. Will be a tough game at Tiger Stadium - but I still think the Tigers will beat Floriduh.ldskule:

 

I got home from work in the 4th quarter and turned on the set. My first thought was "I can't believe they let them do that to an LSU uniform". The jersey's look Boise St. blue and the helmets are worse. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cuss: :cuss:
