Where i'm from "bait" is something used to trick or catch your prey. Example....Saban baiting Miles into using the f word in front of 5000 men women and children.Saban's pychological warfare has only just begun. Miles will be a basket case by the time he gets to t-town next year.
Should RP start that would be true; however, if MF gets the nod- while we surely can't say he's a seasoned qb, inexperienced is not accurate either. Need I remind you of the 40-3 smackdown in the Peach Bowl last year. He's shown he can lead our team and he's been in and around the game now where he's past the stagefright, speed of the game, etc. Trust me, we'll be o.k.
Good Lord, the way you Gumps go on about Miles soiling the poor little ears of all the the women and children at the Bash, you'd think you were all a bunch of granny panty-wearing school marms laying on a chaise lounge with your smelling salts because a male peeked into the window during the local all-girls' school spring cotillion. Here's a fact: on top of being an extremely physical game, football is has a large emotional component, and sometimes people get fired up and use the word, "f**k". If Gumps as a fanbase are so horrified that that word was used during a fan event where emotions are running high, then I'd suggest that the fanbase needs to grow a pair of you-know-what. I'd say the word I mean instead of "you-know-what", but I'm not in the mood to have you shriek like a girl while you fan your face with your hanky. Wait, I take that back. I am a girl, and I don't get light-headed when someone uses a profanity in front of me. So I don't know what to call you, but I somehow think that the rough and tumble game of football isn't for you. '
Since you say your a girl i will be gentle with you. As one of the "gumps" you speak of i can assure you we are not "horrified" by anything Miles has to say. We really all find it comical that in only a month Saban has managed to get under Miles skin to this point. In proclaiming Bama as public enemy no.1 he better pray he comes out of t-town next year with a win. Looks like all the pressure is on Miles. i wouldn't want to be in his shoes going back home with a loss. The natives have been known to get restless. Should be entertaining.
I assure you Sir, that Miles could beat Bama next year with an All-Freshman team...:hihi: Or, he could stay here in BR and send the players to whoop your a$$es without any coaches.
Dropping the F-bomb had nothing to do with Saban getting under Miles' skin. Contary to what you gumps believe, not everything is about you.
