That's like that with ND, where we're the biggest game for the teams we play and that game is circled on their calendars, months if not years, in advance. If UCLA had beaten ND last year, at that point, that would have been UCLA's biggest victory in years. Even lower ranked teams will bring their A game against ND because they want to beat us so badly.
Check back when you win four in a row against us AND win one of these :crystal: Wow. Bama has some very, very loudmouthed, braggart, arrogant fans . . . to come on this board and brag . . . that's trailer park hubris. LSU! :crystal:
Don't kid yourself you'd be tied to the whipping post most years than not if you were in the SEC. They should go ahead and just crown the SEC Champ NC. Let the others battle it out for second place.
That's not what he said. he said he was looking forward to playing Florida, Auburn, and "effing" Alabama.
Let's see, that's the entire West Division, plus Tennessee and . . . evrybody else. Sure Pal. This is the way it is. Bama has two traditional rivals--Auburn is the in-state rival and Tennessee is the SEC rival. LSU has two traditional rivals--Tulane is the in-state rival and Ole Miss is the SEC rival. Now, there are teams that occasionally become hot rivalries depending on circumstances. LSU has always had a hot rivalry with whatever school most stood between them and the SEC championship. In the 60's it was Ole Miss, in the 70's and 80's it was Bama, In the 90's it was FLorida and in the 21st Century it is Auburn. Bama will never be a traditional rival of LSU. But if you ever manage to replace Auburn as "the competition" in the West Division, Bama/LSU could become a hot rivalry again.
