1. Both of these teams can play football. The Tigers had better strap it on and be ready. 2. Funny that Tennessee was supposed to be a team with a fine QB situation and LSU was "unproven" at QB. 3. Not so funny that the rest of the Tennessee team seems to be big, strong, and fast as billed.
And, Riggs looks like a handful. I expect a very tough game against a team looking to save their season.
Thank God we are at home for this one. IMO these teams are so evenly matched that the twelvth man could be the kicker!!! :geauxtige
then the play wouldnt count. yes this will be a very difficult game against a tough, physical pissed off team. always worse to face a team that lost their previous game. this will be no different.
If LSU doesn't run right over the Gators it will be because of poor play calling. LSU has enough quality RBs to pound away and drive the Gator D into the turf.
I think so too, but my concern isnt scoring points. I just dont want to get caught in a shoot-out with Leak. If the UF offense last night was any indication of how SEC defenses in general will be able to handle the Urban spread, then maybe we shouldnt be worried about that either. Then again, maybe UT's defense is just much better than ours. Ill just be happy to get by UT so we can finally have a warm-up game or two.
If LSU can stop Riggs, we win this game, I think. Make the Tennessee quarterbacks beat us. They do not have anything like a Keller to attack a zone defense expecting the pass. If LSU allows Tennessee to get a balanced offense going, it may be a long night. If Russell can pick apart this Tennessee defense, I will feel good about this season. Very good.
FT and VT will accept nothing less than a shutout and injuries to everyone but Jim Bob Cooter. :hihi:
