So is the demise of Tiger Stadium due to fans not staying premature?

That makes me sad. The fucking Gumps are able to fill their stands during high win times ... I guess that's the difference of living in Louisiana vs Alabama. There's shit to do that costs less in Louisiana, but the only fucking thing to do in Bama is fuck your family members and go see Bama football and there's only so much of granny that you can take.

Why is ole piss constantly ranked higher than LSU for tailgating? i've been there. There are no rabid fans. They sure do dress nicer and don't use plastic forks, but who cares about that? I don't wear ties to sporting events.

Yes, but I was a little p.o'd that the only video they showed of him was in the indoor cage, instead of his incredible multi-million dollar palace.

My Dad, brother in law and niece stayed to the final whistle on Saturday night in the rain. Frankly, it was embarrassing with a game still in doubt. Tiger Stadium is turning into a bunch of fair weathered fans. Unless it's a close game or Bama everyone blows out. Sad.

Our fans have been spoiled with a decade of great success. They take it for granted and feel they no longer have to stay for the team to be successful. Far from true, our team still needs our crowd to give them that boost.

I wonder what our players feel when they look up at the stands in the 2nd half and see half the crowd gone. That could also be why our team didn't play so well in the second half. They can't exactly be motivated to play hard if no one is watching them. I do still feel confident that they show up in the big games though. We are still LSU.

I've said it before, but the stadium will be loud when it needs to be. Anyone remember the Bama game last year? I know we lost, but not until late in the game. No one left early. And that's the way it will always be in close games.

Really? Besides the NCAA link, I've always seen us as having the best tailgate.

Ole Miss' tailgate in the grove is just so different.

This is exactly how I felt. It's impossible for it to not play into their psyche. In their subconscious minds, it probably made them feel like there were 2 minutes to play in the 4th quarter the second they came back on the field.

I mean, what true fan would not want to watch every waking second of us skulldragging Auburn? Have that many of our fans forgotten about our recent history with them? I don't care if it's 77-0 after the first quarter; I'm watching every snap of that bad boy, and I'm getting hyped every time we make a first down.

Good point, I've only left early once and it was 3 minutes left in the 4th against Middle Tennessee State in 2007.

I think tickets should be like credit cards. You get season tickets and it comes as a card that you have to swipe to get in and leave. And if your card leaves early more than twice in a season your season tickets are revoked.

Exactly, like in '11. We were up something like 35-0 at halftime, and I couldn't wait for the second half to start. There could not be enough beatdown of those guys for me.
