1. Cody Worsham mentioned on the Hey Fightin’ podcast that they scouted Oklahoma to be a quarters defense, which means the DBs split the field into quarters and each is responsible for one portion. This means the safeties get the middle two quarters usually. So they just lined Jefferson up in the slot and he kept getting safeties covering him, so they kept throwing to him. It’s actually very simple when you think about it.

    I think Curry killed it in practice and something must have concerned the coaches about Davis-Price, maybe pass protection.
