So does Perrilloux ask for a transfer knowing he won't play for at least 3 years?

Yea, everybody klnows that he just didn't want to get stuck in the worst run football organization in the NFL. The Niners won't be good again, untill that owner sells the team. As much as I hate them, it is very sickening to see a team with such rich tradition treated this way.

leinart was more than likely the #1 overall pick in the draft last year before deciding to return. lay off the USL weed. that chit is bad.

Leinart will be the biggest flop since Ryan Leaf.. one his own recievers said he dropped the ball in practice one day because Leinart actually threw a spiral.. if he cant throw a sharp, hard pass in the pros he will not make it...

But that wasnt the point.. the point is that someone said that JR will stay around forever... I say if he has some success on the field, he will be a high draft pick after this year and definately after next year because of his raw ability, even if its completely manifested on the field..

He is the backup still. And according to Ivan Maisel, is the 2nd best QB in the country.

Perriloux is two plays away from starting. Defenses will come after Russell and injury is not out of the realm of possibility. I'm sure RP knows this. LSU has some early games that will afford him some PT coming up. Not sure that he will even redshirt. I would like to see him redshirt, though.

I would never say he would'nt play for another 3 years. He could play on the third down in the opening series of the Tenn. game if you think about it. Just takes one play for someone to get hurt.

I really don't agree. If you've read some of his comments since fall camp started, you'll see an entirely different RP than the one that was quite boastful back on signing day.

Now, with reguards to JR. He keeps playing like he has been, and no one will have to worry about the next 3 years--he'll be gone by his Jr. season, opening the door for RP and MF to battle for the starting job as RS-Soph and RS-Sr. respectively.

EVen if that doesn't happen, and JR stays till his Sr. year, RP will still get the keys to the car as a RS-Jr.
