Right but Saban obviously has alot of NFL contacts and successful or not (in all of two season) he runs a very NFl style defense. I hope like hell they come to LSU but you have to look at it like that, because they still want to be paid to play football one day, and they have to make the descision of which college will help them get drafted (Not that LSU has had ANY trouble with that in rescent years but Im just throwing it out there).

I think it's pretty obvious that they were taking Scarbourough for a ride, knowing that he would publish anything he hears.

Get real. We want all of our committments and we are going to fight for them. These are high school kids being teated like kings and they are getting all the kicks out of it that they can. Seeing grown men get all upset must tickle the chit out of them.

I agree we want all our recruits, it is silly to talk about taking back their offer.

A program/coach most people dont like or you dont like? Seriously LSU is a GREAT program with a GREAT coaching staff but remember this: The only reason we all hate Saban so much right now is because he was such a darn good coach for us. Im sure some recruits feel he might be able to do the same for Alabama as he did for us, and that might be something they want to be a part of. I wont get mad at them if they decide to go there, its their descision, though I might be mad at Saban for getting the top Louisiana recruits (which he brought in his fair share of here) to go to Alabama.

All Im trying to do here is explain why some players might want to consider their options. Its easy to say that they should go to LSU for state pride purposes, but we are (clearly) all LSU fans here.

If Luther Davis is doing things like this before he's even played a down of college football then I certainly don't want him as an LSU Tiger. The good thing is he plays a position where we are very deep and will be fine at even if he doesn't come here. I just don't get why he's lying so much about everything... too much weird stuff going around

That was the only thing he had for us liking him........it is his back-door shenanigans and deceitfulness that has turned LSU fans' -as well as other college football fans'- stomach. Trying to sneak out of town in the middle of the night is cowardly.

I'm old school....A man is as good as his word.

The Luther Davis story continues to twist and turn according to Rivals. Seems to be a bit more information about when he was there, who he was with, etc., but the whole story is still a bit muddled. I imagine it will clear up in the next 2 days.
