Your post is so FOS it's hardly worth commenting on so I won't. Rather, I would just ask the question if you are the Auburn AD and have a clean sheet who would you select for the HC, OC and DC that is a realistic candidate and why?

O.K. I'll spell it out for everyone. He's attempting to lure the Miles bashers to defend Tubby. Some people on this board think it is unaccepteble to lose any games. Losing 2 games to top 10 teams on the road were grounds for firing the entire staff here. So now that AU has lost 2, he posts this about Tubby to see how many would come in and defend him. Funny, how much more support Tubby seems to get here than our staff does.

As Bill O'Reilly would say, you really need to lay off the kool-aid. Tubberville is one of the top coaches in the country. Went 13-0 a couple of years back and probably got cheated out of a stab at the national championship. This year he has fielded one of the best teams in the SEC, and you want him fired because he lost a couple of games? If Auburn is stupid enough to fire him, Tubberville will be out of a job for about five seconds. You say Auburn needs a top tier, BCS title kind of coach? Well let me tell you my friend, Auburn already has one.

Yea he is a good kicker but the longest FG made before our game was around 42 yards. He attempted 3 FG longer than that distance for our game but missed all 3. However, it was the 3rd game of the year.

It is quite interesting to read the cannibalistic rants of the AU folk this weekend. Nothing is well, it is time to replace the whole staff, and too bad Jetgate wasn’t handled better.

There has been a malaise associated with this team for much of the year. Except for the LSU game and the second half of the Florida game, Auburn has been the bama of last season. Seems they have been just been getting by.

Reasons offered have been many. The most interesting are some observations that Brandon may be having a reoccurrence of Myasthenia Gravis. I have seen multiple post by medical professionals about the situation; how Brandon’s vision may be affected, and how some of his medications may have resulted in the slow recover from injuries suffered in the LSU game. Unfortunately, AU doesn’t have a budding QB controversy to fall back on. Maybe next year Caudle and Burns will give the staff an option if Cox is ineffective.

Hanging one’s hat on a single explanation is unwise. The chemistry of this team has never developed. I also don’t think it has developed between the coaches residing on the defensive side of the ball either. The idea that it is time for housecleaning, though, is a stretch. I wasn’t enthralled with CTT’s efforts in last years Bowl Game, I was excited about this years coaching team. We have a young DC and a new LB coach, and many young players looking to make a contribution next year. Growing pains again loom large, but in two years I think rewards are available for AU.

I have seen enough to know that the cupboard isn’t as bare as some seem to believe. Like every team, however, that talent has to be developed. And then that talent must learn its role. That is the challenge for the coaching staff for the remainder of this year and for next. I use to think you were rough on Miles............

    I find this post interesting.
There are quite different circumstances here.
As far as Auburn is concerned Tubby could be 2-10 and he would be defended
    here because Auburn aint LSU.
Tubby has a track record and Miles doesn't.
Tubby had an undefeated season and should've won a national championship.
Les is in his second year is still unknown so I think the two are apples to
    oranges.
