Cause they're simpletons on this issue. The reality is that Safari Hunters pump a huge amount of money into these communities, and end up preserving and protecting these animals by creating an economic incentive for the locals to protect the herds. The hunters pay a huge tab and employ lots of locals for the right to cull an old trophy from the herd. In Kenya when they banned trophy hunting of elephants because the hamburger stuffing animal loving hypocrites cried too much, the herds were destroyed by ivory poachers as there was no longer an economic incentive to stop them. The economics was for them to help the poachers, become poachers.
No species was ever preserved by killing it's members. And be honest....hunters never cull the old ones....they go after the most majestic because it gives their tiny little dick a thrill to pretend to be superior. And those mutherfuckers don't eat what they kill. They go back to the fancy resort and have prime rib. I don't particularly like the killing of any animals but I can understand those who truly do live off the land. Big game hunters are assholes.
