You never joke around about the size of a guy's turtle.

Which way do you turn to see when someone gets behind you?

All we do is joke about sizes in our secret girl meetings and I'm so far ahead I never have to look back.....;)

I'll be honest if they make those glasses to where the look like some cool Chanel's or something that doesn't scream you are a tech dork, I'd probably get some.......would've been fun on our ski trip skiing down the mountain, seems like everyone had those GoPro's strapped to their helmets.

Tiga, would that green stuff be some sort of phytoplankton organism that has attached itself to the carapace surface of a chelydra serpentina?

Tiga, you ever see those big ass alligator snappers? The Holiday Inn here in Bossier used to have a handful of them in a make shift pond inside the gate. A couple were over 200#s and a couple others between 100#-200#s. They were pretty impressive. But it's been probably 15-20 years ago since I saw them there.

No. Turtles make their own roux. This one is just young which explains the green color.

A friend of mine catches one now and then at Chicotl State park when fishing for polywogs with lines.

I'm still learning and that's what I'm going to target more this spring.

Hold it right there, what's a polywog? Google yields no valid info.....
