While I'm not familiar with R.Kelly's doo doo butter, I don't imagine it's any worse than cocoa butter perfume (or lotion.) I don't think the issue is the intensity of the smell. Rather, it's the voluminous quantities that are often employed to mask odors of indeterminate origin.

Heard a bar owner on the radio this morning. Said 85% of his customers smoke, 80% of his employees smoke, and 90% of the musicians who play his club smoke. If I remember the numbers, he said there are over 600 bars in the city where you can't smoke, 200 where you can. Not sure how this thing's gonna go but government intervening further into private business may not be good.
