im not positive but i think the winning team had 2 homers and cal state had 1 (Im not sure ) also for someone preaching small ball , 4 homeruns in a game fits your criteria?
my point is......Cal State plays a lot of small ball. They were beaten by a team with more power hitters. NC has a poor defense and makes a lot of errors but the bats make up for it. (ask Cal St.)
I am positive. Both team had 2 homeruns. 13 inings, and a combined 4 HR's definitely isn't a power display.
Wrong once more. Cal States Homeruns accounted for 4 runs while UNC's HR's accounted for 3. Meaning Cal States power was more productive. They were beaten by a team that hit 5 consecutive SINGLES in the 13th. A team taht advanced the runners and drove them in by simply putting the ball in play. Do your homework before running your mouth next time.
Long ball is not the only way to score runs. From http://fullertontitans.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/recaps/061706aaa.html on last night's game.
okay you two guys are right. enjoy watching cws on tv with no lsu, enjoy it next year and the next etc.
Enjoy your life of depression. And don't come jumping back on the bandwagon when LSU turns this thing around.
I enjoy watching college ball, period, I would rather seeLSU! there, but I can watch any kind of college sport
