1. Is this a prediction thread? If so, I guess I'll make mine now.

    LSU-34

    MSU-6
  2. About the same as the OOC teams that we blew away. Only they rolled over and didn't do anything in the second half. State kept playing football and scored some points. Don't forget that tennessee was blown out in 2005, but they kept playing football and beat us in overtime. This is the SEC. Under the right circumstances, State can give us a game.
  3. Bottom line...you act like they threatened us in that game...they didn't. Yes, they kept playing football...with their starters. Our starters were on the bench when they scored their two touchdowns. That was my point. Also, the TN game was a whole different animal...for more than one reason. First of all...we never had a 32 point lead. Secondly, TN kept playing football in the second half...and our guys were spent already...due to the fact...well you know why. Totally different situation.

You're fun to debate...cause you never give up!:thumb: But for what it's worth...I said nothing about MSU not being able to give us a game. This IS the SEC...and anything is possible. I simply stated that they did NOT give us ANY kind of a game last year. The only thing that threatened the Tigers in that game was lightning.:thumb:

  4. Ok I'm no LSU fan but the logo at the top of the board now .. it's just cool.:thumb:

Honestly this won't even be a close game .. the closest it will be is kick off at the start of the game and thats before toe meets leather.

  5. Was that the game where we had the lightning delay? Didnt we score like 5 times and 5 minutes? I get all of our ass whippings from the beginning of last year mixed up.
  6. No, they didn't threaten us, but they were not like the candy-ass OOC opponents--they did not give up. And they damn sure threatened Alabama at their place.

Exactly. My point is that State was a couple of clicks higher than Two-lane, Fresno, and the University of Lafayette Louisiana in Tiger Stadium. And they upset an overconfident Bama team at home.
