That meanness must be trait of second children. My five-year-old is incredibly docile and sweet, while my (nearly) two-year-old, named Skylar, is h**l on wheels. And they're girls, for goodness sake.
I see that pattern so often, not only with my two daughters but with friends' kids too. One thing about that scenario is that there are studies showing the oldest has a more sophisticated language because they learn lanuage, primarily, from the parents; whereas, the second child learns from both parents and older sibling.
I concur with that. My two year old is just now starting to talk. But I think it has more to do with the fact that his 4 year old brother answers every question for him! The two of them have their own language. The two year old speaks something like Swahili, and the 4 year old translates. It's really quite funny. Also, the two year old is much more aggressive than the four year old, and weighs only 4 lbs less, at 2 years and 4 months younger! He is also completely fearless, which is why I feel that he will probably not live to play football, baseball, or post irrelevant posts on threads that have nothing to do with second children, or children for that matter!:hihi:
Good for Skyler, hopefully the change in position will increase his longevity in the league. Parcels rarely doles out compliments so he must be doing well.
Yeah that's weird. I'm the first born of 5 and was always considered the laid back, easy-goin' type, whereas, my brother who is 3 years younger than me was a hellion. All my other brothers are much more like me. Soft spoken and not trouble makers, but my 4 year old sister is like my second born brother was. Kinda funny, if you think about it. And good for Skyler! I'm glad to see he's back. I think it will be weird seeing him at RB if he gets any carries though.
yep, and i'm sporting my purple plaid polyester pants and a gold silk shirt today (opened up to the 3rd button of course) cajun, you spose to be leaving today fool....what u doin?
