With all the Jack Daniels ole Joe has consumed in his day, they'd still be trying to put the fire out.
I saw Skip at the Baton Rouge airport recently. I had never seen him that close up before. This is a terrible thing and I feel for him... I guess it's a lesson to replace all your old power strips,et al....
It's really a sad thing, because you want to reach out for him and help him, but there's really very little that you can do at a time like this. I want to do something, you know, yet I feel so powerless to do anything.
This kind of fire tragedy can happen to any of us. Maybe it's time to get a good fire safe for those things that we can't replace.
fire what a shame. That is terrible for anyone but those memorabilias are too too bad. However, we could be conducting funerals and that would be much worse than melted pictures etc. Thank the good Lord for their safety.
Agreed, it would've been a terrible blow to the LSU community/family to have lost either Skip or Sandy in the fire. Fortunately, they are safe.
