Sometimes I think we may be each other's evil twin. Perhaps we are reverse versions of each other from a parallel universe. I'm not a scientist. I don't know. I do know: You spell very well. I spell very poorly. You are an atheist. I believe in God. You like the Mets. I like the Braves. You like free trade. I like free trade. Crap. Nevermind.
That Mickey Mouse show is only a small fraction of what's being broadcast by the sand flea radicals. Just look on youtube for more disgusting programming of the same ilk.
The numeral 1 is not a word and is misspelt if used as a word in a sentence, the correct spelling is One. dont is not a word either. The correct spelling of the contraction of "do not" is don't. Off the subject, but I tend to think that people who can't capitalize or punctuate when they write are stupid. Occasional misspelling happens to everyone . . . except martin, of course.
Anyone nowadays who feels like the Islamic threat is just minor, or made up by Bushco and the Jooooos is frankly either a simple-minded idiot, completely uninformed, or purposefully self-deluded. My experience is that 90% are all three. For crying out loud, 35% of Democrats (17.5% of Americans) think Bush planned 9/11. If you are one of these people there is absolutely no hope for you. You may as well swallow Anthrax. Your lot in life is to work a chicken nugget making machine. The spread of the internet has not made people any dumber than before. It has just made them louder, with a larger audience of like-minded idiots.
For the record, I don't rely on DS or Colbert to get my news. I try to get in my CNN...and yes...Fox News throughout the day. DVR'd Daily Show ends the night for me.
http://pollingreport.com/terror.htm 23% of the respondents blame the Bush Administration a "great deal" for 9-11. Those are truly lost balls in a high wind. Additionally, this question was polled and 39% of these people said to wait till the terrorists attacked before responding. Those idiots need their head examined.
i never said i do not take casual shortcuts. i use words like "dunno" and "u" instead of "you". what i do not do is accidentally spell a word incorrectly. i am aware of my issues with punctuation and i make no claims about my correctness there. i feel that punctuation and caps are mostly unnecessary. i can read things just as well without it. sometimes, when it is needed to avoid ambiguity, i will toss a little in. otherwise, waste of time. nah, i admitted i have made two mistakes in the history of the board! i make spelling mistakes at roughly half the rate that red introduces bad research as evidence in a discussion. i think what i am getting at is that television news is insufficient. i dont care about anything, except maybe 2 or 3 issues. so that means i have to read a little. tv as a format doesnt work for analysis. this is what jon stewart doesnt get.
