She appears to be slowly but surely converting him to the dark side. I feel a great disturbance in the force.
OK, you are allowed a 85-man squad of scholarship athletes. If 72 return and you signed 18, then you are either pulling scholarhips from 5 players . . . or you are counting walk-ons as assets. Everybody at USC letters including the walk-ons, we have already covered that in an earlier thread.
Hey, I asked for D numbers, how tough is that? :hihi: USC has 10 returning starters on D, most with more than one year playing experience. Out of the 14, how many do the Tigers return on D? Maybe women have a more difficult time admitting when they're wrong cause it happens so infrequently. Lawd, I can see it now.....I'm toast. And fried, cows are a staple in Tejas too but even Bevo died so what's your point?
Despite being bombarded with info here in Dallas on UT, I haven't heard their defense was top tier last year. Lost a few key guys and have a new coordinator so I don't see a top 10 D as reasonable. Possible... sure. Colt has a lot of hype. Obviously, didn't perform in some key situations so the jury is way out on him. Lot of guys have had his talent but never amounted to anything.
Yes, I believe walk-ons are considered to be on the squad.......the black shirt squad for sure includes walk ons. And no, not everybody at USC letters. Each school determines their own criteria (fair enough) and since 1976, squad members who have played at least 30 minutes are listed as USC lettermen. Kickers and others who have contributed significantly but without the possibility of 30 minutes playing time are also considered. Lastly, senior squad members who have been on the team for several years have been awarded letters as long as they appeared in at least one game. Maybe that accounts for most who have donned the jersey, but not all. Out of curiosity, how does a Tiger earn a football letter?
TROJAN BAIT! Oh crap...:geauxtige Oh, look at you bringing the jokes! Too bad that was as funny as a dead mascot.
