tirk, tell me about this gun. I have two but they fugly. Did that one have some customization in terms of changing out some parts? I need to go shoot my G43. Haven't shot it since that one time.
Flare guns as a weapon? I have a flare gun I bought years ago because it was required equipment on a boat. I no longer have the boat but I still have the flare gun. I have never fired it. It looks like this. A flare would seem to be a pretty destructive thing if you got shot by one. It's probably legal even if somebody were to design a revolver or even a semi auto flare pistol firing the 12 gauge flares. Somebody who knows how to design something like that on a 3D printer could make it available to everybody. There are commercially manufactured inserts available in a variety of bullet size to convert a flare gun to shoot real ammo but they are dangerous and likely to explode. Still would be good to carry on the street somewhere like Chicago or DC where real guns are illegal. A good self defense weapon for a woman to have in her purse.
