LSU Top to Bottom #1 National Champions Way to go LSU Tigers. Great performance last night. Hell, not only last night, but the entire last month. Props to Coach Saban and his players for staying focused in the midst of all the hoopla that surrounds the NC game. The more I see Nick Saban the more impressed I am by him. I like the way he runs his team and the way he never puffs anything up or down plays anything to the media. What you see is what you get. A coach who knows how to coach the talent that he has and treats his players like professionals. You can bet that each player knows exactly what is expected of him because Saban appears to demand perfection or at least all out effort. Great defense last night. You guys were bringing it all night long. Auburn did that against Wisconsin as well. For those that are not familiar with the SEC, and happened to watch the Auburn bowl game and last night's game probably have a new found respect for defense SEC style. I am in no way putting Auburn on the same level as LSU, but we both blitzed with success and never let up. While LSU has the #1 defense, Auburn finished with the #6 defense and I think the country got to see why with both of our bowl games. LSU's win went a long way toward proving to the rest of the country that the SEC is the best conference in all of college football and definitely the most difficult league to win a NC in. Oh yeah, please let Saban know that he and the LSU Tigers can rest on their laurels now for a while with the NC and all. Just kidding. Dave
This is amazing that foes can bring the support like this. Thanks to all of you. Auburn fans, the games you lost does not look so bad, considering that you lost to two teams that are ranked #1 and a #7 team. You know there may be a little respect coming to the SEC from the polls. In the past an sec team lose and they get dropped loke a rock. UGA has managed to stay in the top 10 with three losses. What is sick is Michigan staying where they are and Ole Miss ranked no higher than they are ranked.
Congrats National Champions! Like most Gator fans, I was pulling for LSU. Great showing! Go SEC (UGA being the possible exception)!!!

I lurk here a lot, but don't post -- but what a better time than now to start. Congratulations from another Auburn fan on a great victory. You guys made the SEC proud.
I must say its good to know we may fight in the SEC family. But we pull for each other in bowls and outside the conference. Thats how it should be!!! And it makes us all stronger when we go out of conference because we have been toughened up. Come next year we will be fighting each other again in football and thats how it should be. Congrats to the rest of the SEC on some fine seasons too. Auburn turned it around, Arkansas won, Ole Miss took care of business, Georgia played tough and persevered, Florida and Tenn didnt play well but still had seasons to be proud of. Thanks to all the SEC fans for their support! When LSU goes up against you guys during the regular season, you are the enemy. When we get to the bowls, I pull for EVERY SEC team, even Ole Miss. I was proud of the SEC this bowl season. We won a lot of tough games that show what a competitive conference the SEC is! How did Jason White beat Eli Manning for the Heisman?
