The answer can’t always be next year if we’re moving in the right direction.

Alabama isn’t worried about losing a couple in state guys; they have the top recruiting class and are competing for NCs.

How many of the top 300 dl did we get.

Good to see we got a good start for 2020.

Rudimentary ranking of DT class based on 247 top 50 from my phone:
    1. Bama/Wash
    3. aTm
    4. SCar/Mich/Oreg
    7. UGA/VA/ND/NCST
    11. Clem/Mia
    13. MooU/Cal/Ark/OM
    17. LSU/FU/PennSt

Oregeron getting ass beat by Bama is one thing. There were seven SEC teams ahead of LSU and FU finished the same as we did.

    EDIT:
I combined DEs (WDE/SDE). 11 SEC teams had at least one top 50 DE, with only Tenn (#18) and OM (#45) without at least two. LSU had zero. This DL haul isn’t just bad, it’s embarrassing.

You are literally the king of misleading and gerrymandered stats.

It's not his fault that the numbers are what they are

Uh, bullshit. I just pulled the gd numbers. This is why people are upset despite the lofty recruiting ratings; this is something Eaux himself acknowledged after the Bama loss, but then he failed.

Not just in comparison to Bama, either.

Your own stats have us 17th in the country! If that’s “failure” then I’m Miles Davis. Did you see how many DL were ranked in the top 10 in the state this year? 1. We didn’t pull him, and I’m disappointed, but to say that our DL recruiting was appalling is just misrepresentative.

It is a failure when you are middle of the pack SEC. In a position of need, even broadcast to all by the coach after getting destroyed by Bama. How is it that just about everyone in the west did a better job in our position of need than we did?

We can celebrate the skill position class we brought in AND recognize that the DL class was not good enough in relation to our peers.

Can’t wait to see all the bouquets O gets when we finish 17th in the country at the end of the season. Didn’t that get Miles fired?
