The entire set of NCAA regulations and by-laws needs to be scrapped and rewritten from the ground up.
So is everyone now agreeing that the rules are stupid ones, and that Tyrann should be let back on the team? The way I understand it is he broke LSU rules, not NCAA rules, so can't LSU modify its rules? I mean we give people who have been charged and book with real crimes a second chance. And I know people will say he has had many chances, but I see this as being his first chance at redemption. And for those like Mancha who are in their white suburb bubble, and don't understand the culture of at least half of the players in college football, get real. Not everyone is the cleavers, marijuana is widely accepted by the majority of Americans today, and Jay Z has been a guest at the White House, you have to accept the fact that not everyone is like you, or has your values. Pot is harmless, it's not a gateway drug, it has ZERO negative effect on humans. Look at the research, it's out there. It's just the people who make the most noise and bitch and whine, and make laws are influenced by corporations who stand to lose money if pot were legalized. Destroy the black market for a product by legalizing said product, and destroy the crime that comes with that product from being a black market product. It's time that people shouldn't have to worry about their life being ruined because they smoked a joint. It's utterly ridiculous and anyone who opposes the legalization of marijuana....I'm sorry but you are a fucking idiot and a bigger problem than Tyrann Mathieu and his "bad influence"
Funny you should say that because this is the same reporter that had the huge vendetta and would not stop contact auburn students, professors, cam's family etc. in fact an Auburn professor gave this guy's phone number to his students to do with it as they saw fit because he wouldn't stop calling the professor.
Media and reporters continually skirt the line between legitimate journalism and harassment to get a story. Evans and SI are hardly the only borderline dirty players in that game.
Not I. I'm saying a rule that would cause us to lose wins cause a gang of thugs used freaks name or picture without his consent is dumb. As long as dope is against the law then they have to be smart enough to not use it.
This whole SI article pisses me off. Good Grief. Mathieu is trying to clean himself up, and this no talent ass clown Thayer Evans writes a column, that SI, should not have published, without Mathieu himself being interviewed. It's a joke. He has no credentials. What is wrong with people. This column had no reason to even be published. I pray that Mathieu gets his act together, is invited back on the team, and kicks some ass out on the field.
Dude, I can never speak against pot because of my past. It is this ERA Nation, posse bullshit that I don't understand. How someone cannot break from their past when it does harm to their future, what they want to accomplish in life. Pacman Jones, Michael Vick....what did it get them. Sometimes you can't have it both ways. So, no. I don't understand the culture in respect to that. If Matheiu leaves that all behind and gets clear of it then we should all welcome him back. This ERA Nation shit is dragging him down man as far as being a football player. Football is the culture he should be in now.
