Laron had a pretty quiet year and taking off the purple and gold glasses, Florida's safety Reggie Nelson had a better year than Laron. Laron hasn't put up as good numbers (b/c of Beckwith and Dorsey) as he has in the past and for some reason the defense wasn't as aggressive for at least a couple games. Plus they might of perceived that our secondary gave up too many big plays versus Florida, Tennessee and Arkansas.

LaRon should be a All American. The guy rarely misses a tackle. When LSU needs a big stop, LaRon usually gets it. He didnt have as many tackles as he did before, but thats only because of the scheme. With Muschamp LaRon had more tackles because he blitzed a lot. He is gonna be a big time pro.

Seems like every year LaRon's hits are getting bigger and bigger - can't wait to see him on Sunday.
