If this game happens, it will be interesting to see what kinds of delays that posters here who drive to the game experienced. Lord knows we won't have too much else to talk about after walking out with a big win. :thumb: I think that 20 hours is way too conservative if you are not counting the drive back to your house after the evacuation. Pick the correct route and you should not have too much delay. Now try to go on I-10 between BR and NO and you deserve what you get. Anyway, if you live next to the coast, you have to accept the fact that this sort of thing happens. All of the other fans should not be punished because you chose to live in a dangerous area. If you don't want your life impacted by hurricanes, move to Dallas and get killed by a Tornado.

I'm just trying to understand why your grasp of English and basic map reading is so bad. Check any weather site you like, it's a tropical storm now. That means maximum sustained winds of less than 73mph. Even on the map I showed you, and explained to you that it was 3 hours old, the yellow area means that the maximum winds are 39mph, it's much less by now. Auburn is on the outer edge of the yellow area, near the Georgia border. Get a frickin' clue.
Before you get on someone about map reading, maybe you should double check your own map. The key says 'Winds > 73 mph'. That's translates into MORE than 73 mph, and MORE than 39 mph. I do realize that the winds are probably much less than this now, but don't get on someone about reading a map, and then miss read the map.

You know, you're right. I misread that. And it is true that the winds are much lower in speed now. The bottom line even when I posted the map I misread was that it was no longer a hurricane but even when it still was, Auburn wasn't getting hurricane force winds. But I admit when I'm wrong, unlike ramah. Mea culpa.
Nice try. I'd appeal to emotion too if I couldn't win the argument with logic. The bottom line is this: more than likely this game will happen on Saturday. Auburn did not get the hurricane force winds that were predicted and the rain has almost completely left the Auburn area and we're still two days out from the game.
