Really? What do you get out of that? Just saying, i use lemon on chicken before it is cooked to get a more natural taste. Kills the blood, dead piss and sperms that come with it.
Steak doesn't need "zing" follow along 1. Start with a good quality piece of meat. Get it from a butcher or at least from behind the counter at a good store. 2. Let it sit out for about 30-45 min before you cook it. A cold steak is a tough steak. 3. Kosher salt, ground black pepper STOP 4. Grill to somewhere just short of medium and remove. I have read several comments about "just short of" whatever temperature - medium, medium rare, etc. There is no such thing. If it is short of medium, it is medium rare. There is no in-between.
