Im confused, I thought being atheist was just about not believing in any faith or God

or is about a crusade to hate religion and to convince others to hate it too..... almost sounds like a religion itself...lol

 

lies are bad. religion is lies. if you want evidence as to what sort of bad behavior is justified by religion, read the bible and look at this thread.

i dont hate gays. yunno why? because i dont have religion telling me to care about it so i dont give a damn. so is my "religion" not hating people for no reason, and i am a zealot? sure why not, if you wanna look at things thru the stupid lens, be my guest.

look, i was just curious if you are a christian and believe in the bible or not. the bible hates fags and god kills people for sodomy. our government supports gays. tha seems to oppose god. and god likes to kill, he destroyed a whole city for sodomy. perhaps gods will is that our soldiers die?

can you at least agree that the bible speaks about how god kills people for being gay or associating with gays?

what would motivate a group like this to cause pain to others? they say it is their religion. is that a lie? does the bible not have the passages i referenced earlier. did god not destroy sodom and gamorrah for their sinful ways?is our culture any less sinful?

He sure does a lot of preaching, that's for sure. Reminds me of some of those tv preachers that are enchanted by the sound of their own voice.

So do satanic worshipers or people that worship the color blue. The point is tangential and nobody pays any attention to their so called "religious" affiliation. It is immaterial. Probably just an attempt to be more hurtful by hiding behind the guise of religion. It's unnecessary because their actions are hurtful enough.

But it only seems to matter to you so you can justify going off on an anti-religious rant. It is about the grief process being disrupted for innocent people. You can keep exploring books of the bible, but it is not even remotely pertinent.

 

I don't claim anything about religion or the bible, what it says, doesn't say, means to christians, kooks, or atheists. I point out that it is irrelevant about this particular topic. Religion has nothing to do with this motivation and only you enjoy focusing on that, simply because you enjoy portraying religion in a bad light. It's anti-war motivated, not religious motivated.

Was the focus of beatniks that spit on Vietnam soldiers about weed and free love, or was it anti-war? You have a hard on about religion and seize any opportunity to rub one out. It's a pity that you have to hijack a thread about these freaks in order to get off again.

 

if you used your eyes to read you would see that the protesters are from a church and hold signs that say god hates fags and god likes dead soldiers. do you know what "baptist" means? are you aware of this character called "god" and who is is and who believes in him?

by your logic, are the sept 11th hijackers just out for fun and not even muslim?

 

the man who gave his life for our country is going to possibly have his funeral disrupted by attention whores seeking publicity for their cause. it doesnt matter if the cause if based on religion, race, fear of ufo's, or seeking funding for research into the effect of jolly ranchers on house cats. no matter who does this, or why, the action is reprehensible. and as i pointed out, the family of the fallen soldier is going to be subjected to the disgusting behavior or others, when their loved one ironically gave up his life fighting for the rights that allow them to be such selfish pigs.

to me, they are disgusting lowlife cultists. i hope that others will come together and help shield the family from their behavior. this is why i have respect for the patriot guard riders. upon request, they give support to these families, giving their time and using their own financial resources to do so. it is no surprise that many of them are vets themselves.

 

I have done so in regards to them and to you. Both are just attention seeking whores using religion as their vehicle. And everyone else sees that here also.
