Should we try Carey or Addai at WR?

And then kicking one pass up into the air after he dropped it, allowing Va Tech an easy INT?

I agree with redshirting Edwards. He shouldn't be overlooked amid the embarrassment of riches at running back.

Who's place would they take at WR? They are great running backs and belong in the back field

It's too late to redshirt Edwards this year as he has played in most if not every game. He is a regular on special teams, but just hasn't been a regular toting the ball.

Thanks Mike D. Barrington will continue to contribute. As demonstrated by this season already, we are regularly playing our 3rd and 4th string RBs. Carey and Addai won't be here forever, so it helps that these guys had an opportunity to get some PT early this year. As for ST, Vincent, Alley, and Barrington all were playing ST before the injuries to Carey and Addai. Now, Vincent has been pulled off ST as he now has primary duty.

Saban will have a challenge to work reps into Carey, Addai, Vincent, and Alley without someone getting upset. I think Carey and Addai will be brought back a little bit slower than if we were struggling at RB.

As for punt returns, I don't know that Carey will return any more punts unless Sky goes down. He is doing an incredible job, and Saban doesn't like to change things that seem to be working for him.

    No Redshirt for Barrington Edward

Barrington is playing on special teams he is not or cannot be redshirted at this time.

I think Barrington will become the best of the 3 Barrington has size and speed and runs with his eyes for whatever reason not knowing the plays or something Barrington has not gotten a lot of playing time. There is a reason he is on special team because he is a great Athlete and Saban is making sure he is seeing playing time. Barrington had a little fumble problem early and that might be the reason but he hits the corner the best of the three and turns up field best of the three.
