Should we support USC during the season?

Can you imagine Saban letting his players pose like that? It actually makes me think less of Carroll. I usually pull for the underdog so I'll most likely root against USC in every game this year. If it's late in the year and there's a chance we could meet USC in the Orange Bowl, I might pull for them so we could finally settle this thing man to (gay)man. Too many things have to happen for that scenario so I'll wait until it looks possible.

Our white jersey uniform design was inspired by UCLAs jerseys, so I think LSU should prefer UCLA over USC.

It might not matter. USC is the best bet to make the Orange Bowl because of their laughably easy schedule.

Would Nick have gotten the guaranteed raise to highest paid coach if LSU had only been the AP Champs?

    No such thing.

The AP is just one poll that is unquestionably biased. Only three groups consider USC to be champs: LSU-haters, USC, and the sportswriters who vote in the AP poll.

    That's Funny, Reb!

When it comes to gay media guides, the troyboys are the people's champ, and winners of the first ever GLAAD "Best Portrayal of Gayness Without Being Graphic" award.

While you are correct that beating them in a bowl game after the 2004 season would have no bearing on what took place this past season, it sure would feel damned good!!!

As for pulling for them or against them, I don't care. I expect them to win out, but it doesn't matter one way or another.

I pull for the Tigahs against whoever lines up on the other side.

At this point, I would say it's pretty foolish for you to ASSume that LSU is going to the Orange Bowl.

I agree with the posters who say that USC did win the AP NC, we won the BCS NC and they have every right to claim a NC. If the roles were reversed, and they were awfully close to be reversed, we would have claimed our share also. The simple fact of the matter is that it was not USC's fault, it was the fault of the system and the voters, AP and Coaches. Carroll didn't say anything at all that Saban wouldn't have said. Even Nick said that the system did not work correctly when USC was left out and that it needed to be changed. The post above had it right when he said that the LSU fans that worry about USC's claim are petty and insecure. I fell very secure in the knowledge that we won our championship and that USC won theirs.
