Should we now silently root for Auburn?

A lot of the posts above are good examples of why LSU's stock has dropped dramatically with other LSU schools......the hate attitude. Some of you guys seem to hate everybody on a given day. Until the past year I had absolutely nothing against LSU and almost always pulled for you, including the BCS NC last year. But the hate spewed out here and elsewhere against Auburn has changed my attitude. I hope the somewhat disappointing season you are having will humble some of your worst fans to some degree. Auburn may not even get to the NC this year , who knows. But I tell you one thing, I don't know any Auburn fans who give a big rats what those of you who are full of hate think.

 

I have stated several times that I'm pulling for Auburn to win the NC this year. If you can't accept that, then that's your problem.

However, you're kidding yourself if you think that Auburn fans last year weren't running their mouth about how LSU doesn't deserve to be National Champions and USC is the real national champ. If I'm not mistaken, it's been pretty well documented here that you have been one of the Auburn fans that are visiting opposing message boards posting falsehoods on LSU. So before you start going off on LSU fans not supporting Auburn, you better take a long hard look in the mirror.

 

Geez, I put "some" in bold print. I saw your post. I didn't say all LSU fans. And I also know not all Auburn fans pulled for Oklahoma or USC to win the NC last year. And let me try to make it clear.......I didn't say all LSU fans were full of hate. But I believe you can read the posts on this board and see that a lot of them are.

Hey prissy, I see from your first sentence you believe awbarn to be a part(wannabee) of the LSU System. While we appreciate your forward thinking attitude, it is with little regret that we must inform you, that we are not accepting applications from the likes of awbarn at this time.

It is really amazing at just how clueless some of you people are. You think anyone here has forgotten the crap "you" have spread on the OSU board, or the crap your players and coach have pulled over the years.

If you had been paying attention the past 4 or 5 years you would understand why many LSU fans despise Auburn and Tubberville. If LSU and it's coaching staff had acted anywhere near as shameless and disrespectful as Tubberville and his band of thugs you would hate LSU. If you think your team and coaching staff can act like a bunch of prison gang want to be's and then get LSU fans respect in return you are only fooling yourself. AU's players and coaching staff have acted as disrespectful as humanly possible, we are not talking about a handful of fans but the players and coaches. Good thing my grandfather (an OU alum but has lived in BR for 45 years now and is a die hard Tiger fan) bought me an OU hat after the National Championship game for $5 last year as a joke. I'll be wearing it when OU plays against Auburn.

An undefeated SEC champion left out of the BCS title game would make a great case for a playoff. If USC, OU, Auburn, Wisconsin and Utah all finish undefeated the BCS will most likely match up USC and OU in the Orange Bowl simply because they were rated higher earlier than the other teams.
