And yes we should play the game, its going to be a very good game. Not sure why you came here acting like every LSU fan is predicting a total blowout.

Why keep bringing up Marshall? Thats just ignorant. We could bring up how horrible you looked playing Vandy. It was close till the very last bit of the 4th quarter. You got some junk TDs at the end to make it look a little better.

Some of you guys make blanket statements about our team and by your posts have no clue... Devine might not even be out best player on offense. We have the best receiving corps we have had in as long as I can remember. They are young but they are good. Talk about all that speed you have. We have SEC type speed on our offense.

You keep bringing up the spread option? That offense moved to Ann Arbor. Our QB makes some option reads but you wont see him running the option like Pat White. He isnt as fast and we just dont run those plays.

Yes we play in an awful conference. We will have to put the conference on our back again to get them any respect. Its not the first time we have done this.

After we win a close game Saturday night we will run the table. We will end up playing one of your beloved SEC teams in a bowl game and we will beat them.

Remember the name Tavon Austin. He might just make your Patrick Peterson look silly.

Our QB threw 6 td's in a blowout win of Petersons team in high school. I know we wont win in a blowout. Im not a blind homer for the team. Its going to be close. WVU will have a new name mentioned for the Heisman after this game. GENO SMITH.

Just making sure I got this right. You expect Geno Smith to be well known in a good way after facing our D-line, the best CB in the country, and with a suspect OL?

Just to make sure you got this right... YES. Everyone in the country will know his name after this game.

You keep bringing up the best CD in the country. He cant cover everyone. Geno will exploit that.

He only needs to cover Jock Sanders who can't sniff 6'. I'm a fan of College Football in general, and I can see this being a good game, but I really can't see Geno Smith emerging as a Heisman candidate after this game.

LOL... you really need to do some research. Jock Sanders is not our best WR.

I really, really hope they assign Peterson to cover Jock the whole game. Tavon is going to make someone probably several people look really silly trying to tackle him in open space.

First of all, that's not true. Secondly, do you know who LSU's other CB is? I'm willing to bet that, without looking it up, you don't. BUT, we do. You see, you guys come in here thinking Peterson is the only player LSU has. LSU fans are probably guilty of thinking Devine is the only player WVU has. Neither is correct.

For every name you throw out that none of us has ever heard of, LSU can throw out two. THAT'S why LSU pulled away late against Vandy, and that's why LSU pulled away against MSU. Quality depth. As LSU fans, we are just as passionate about our team as you are about yours. I for one can remember where most of our players went to HIGH SCHOOL...even though many of them are from out of state. I follow it that closely, as do most on this board. In fact, I can also pretty much tell you a likely 2012 roster/depth chart, just from knowing who all WILL be playing for LSU. But you can probably do the same with WVU. Knowing that, you should realize that Peterson probably isn't the only one you have to worry about...just like Devine probably isn't the only one LSU needs to worry about. It'll be settled Saturday night, and you won't be back here after that. We've dealt with guys like you before...we know the drill. Anyone remember Bitter ND??

Are we talking about the same game? 27-3 isn't very "close". Vanderbilt would put a hurt on Marshall, by the way.

Since you can remember? Well, we have the best receiving corps in the NCAA. Reuben Randle, Terrance Tolliver, Russell Shepard, and Chris Tolliver. I'd pray if I were you that Shep doesn't catch a ball in the clear because your secondary won't catch him.

There is no SEC "type" speed...there is ONLY SEC speed and unless you're in the SEC there is no way you can claim you have it. You bring up other SEC teams your precious team has beaten a la UGA and AU...the last team that stated they had SEC-type speed? Georgia Tech...we saw how that turned out. Before them? OSU...laughable. Then Miami...they haven't recovered since.

Yep, the last time you "ran the table" you handed us a :crystal: on a silver platter. Your team plays hard in their bowl games because it's their National Championship year in and year out.

Wikipedia: "West Virginia is the winningest Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team to have never won a national championship"

    Ya'll have a reputation for choking....hard.

    :insane:

You complain about us bringing up Marshall but you brought up a HIGH SCHOOL football game?

Nobody, outside of WVU, has ever heard that name mentioned....ever.

Ill be back on here Sunday and be back again next year before you guys come to Morgantown.

Your right I dont know many of your players. Just as you guys think we have done nothing this year I have yet to see anything out of LSU that has been impressive. I have tried to catch some games this year because we play you guys. When I see how tough Vandy played you guys I realized this isnt the LSU teams of a couple years ago.

Jock Sanders is easily your best WR. He's the second best playmaker you have. Why do you think you guys moved him to HB when Devine went down? Austin hasn't done anything against a quality team. CC, UMD, and Marshall don't compare in any way to our pass defense. Peterson most likely won't be lined up on Sanders because Sanders operated primarily out of the slot. We will most likely be giving lots of zone looks to limit the runs on the perimeter and improvisational running, which will keep Peterson to the outside. The guy whose name you will know at the end of the game is Tyrann Mathieu for making great open field tackles and being all over the field on defense and special teams.
