Love it, Kitty Cats. Love it. This one will almost be as fun as thumping OK in the Fiesta, or b-slappin' GA at the GA Dome, or sending Tuberville into retirement. Boy do I love laying one on you boys. Not a shred of difference between you Kitty supporters and those bananas, save for OK (great fans, those Sooners). Did I really just read that one your REAL football fans thought you had an advantage at RB? Ok, I rest my case. Delusional. Arrogant. And about to get dealt with in Death (cue shivering) Valley! This is going to be fun. Fear the 'EER!!!!!
Ignore this knuckle head, he suffers from living in the past as many of my Eer brethren. I haven't heard any LSU fans dismissing us but our fans love to play the tremendous under dog card.
From his posts, we seem the underdog here. Welcome to the forum and stick around, we take all the level headed people we can get.
To answer the question, yes we should play the game. Any average team has a chance to beat a better team due to turnovers, big plays, and intangibles. Since both of these teams are top 25 teams, it should be a good game. To be honest, I do believe that West Virginia would be in the middle of the pack in the SEC. One way to judge young talent is recruiting rankings. Based on recruiting, LSU, Bama, FL, AU, and TN get many more 4 and 5 star recruits in two years than WV does in 5. This is not just speculation, I looked at WV's recruiting and they had around twenty something in the past 4 years, where LSU, Bama, and FL had around sixty. It is easy to discount this, but the fact that LSU, FL and Bama won 5 of the last 7 national championships still remains. Another way to rate talent from the past is to look at players in the NFL. Sure that is the past, but last year LSU and Miami tied for most players in the NFL. Teams from smaller conferences often underestimate how important depth is when you play such a rigourous schedule. Most of the LSU fans I have heard from expect a very good game, but we expect to win. Why? We believe we have more talent, more depth, and we are playing at home. Our out of conference home record speaks for itself. It is true that we have not looked very strong on offense this year. But it is also true that WV looked terrible against Marshall. May the best team win! GEAUX TIGERS!
And you won't find any knowledgeable LSU fans dismissing you. You have a hell of a program and I'm anxious to see how we stack up against you. But some of your "fans" are acting like they just returned from Orlando. They are still in Fantasy Land.
My pastor is from WV and I told him I will say a prayer for all the WV players that they get out of DV alive!!! He will be sitting with me on the 50 yard line watching the game. Geaux Tigers
I learned the hard way last year to not be in a church or near a clergyman while the Tigers are playing football. After the 10th "bull*****" out of my mouth during the LSU-Alabama game last year I thought God himself might burn the church I was in just to smite me. That's what she said.
These guys you want us to ignore are not representative of UWV at all... most of us here at LSU realize that their parents are the true UWV fans. We know that you are not really a fan yet if you bring your lunch to school in a Daniel Boone lunchbox and wear Tim Tebow undies.:insane:.
