Should people on public assistance be able to vote?

    I haven't thought of this angle; since slavery was then legal but now is outlawed, we could require those on assistance to subject themselves to indentured servitude. Then we could exclude them from voting....

    You do realize that speech isn't real don't you. It was created for the Davy Crockett almanac almost 50 years after he died. There is no record of it in the Congressional record.
