I want to see Lee, more to satisfy my curiosity than anything. I don't expect great things out of him, considering that his one pass against WV was a repeat of JJ's pass to the short receiver on third down that "unexpectedly" did not get the first down. But given what JJ has put up so far this season, I don't think a quarter or so could really doom the football team for the entire season.

I believe that Lee should be given some meaningful playing time. I believe he should've been given a few meaningful series each of the past four games to prepare him if JJ goes down. Now I am hopeful that he can put a spark into our passing game along with getting quality snaps. Spurrier never hessitated pulling qbs when they performed poorly. I have always thought you should not let poor qb play keep you from winning the game without putting in another qb(especially if he is an experienced backup). I think if we can get just average production from the qb and good production from the running game and O Line this can be a exceptional season.:tigereye::helmet::crystal::crystal::helmet::geauxtige:LSU231:
I'm with you. I would also like to see jl get an opportunity to play. How can we give this guy a scholarship if he's that bad, how can we offer Chris Garrett a scholarship if he's so bad, and how can we put all our eggs in a basket with Zack Lee who we knew would sign a baseball contract? I think we better stay away from any player with either Lee, Jarrett or Garrett as his name. Bottom line is Ryan P was kicked off of the team in 2008 and here we are in 2010 and we don't have a QB that can play. How do we get into this situation? Give Lee a shot for all of the work and effort at practice everyday and if he screws up then he will shut us the hell up. And for God's sake don't send a kid on the field with his helmet on and then embarrass him by pulling him out. At least our QB knows to get under center and not under guard as WVU's QB did in the 4th quarter.:geauxtige:geauxtige
I think we should have given Lee the 4th quarter of WV - win or loose. Then we would know what we had before conference play started.
