Should Jarrett Lee be given a chance at QB?

The message Miles sent to Lee was "We don't even trust you to hand off the ball". He walks on Lee's ego with iron boots.

Miles explained that it was "Victory Formation" and he wanted his experienced guy in there handling the snap. I was satisfied with that explanation.

Frankly, the Tigers have to make a change. Right now.
Because if Miles doesn't make a change, then there's no way he can look his players in the eye and say that performance will dictate playing time, no way he can look backup quarterback Jarrett Lee in the eye and tell Lee that he's getting a fair shot.

I chit you not. His reasoning appears to be that they both suck so at least Jefferson can run better.

It seems since our defense is so stout and special teams so good, Miles is taking the approach that he wants the offense to do as little damage as possible. Run the ball as much as possible, avoid turnovers and hope for the defense at ST to score some points.

So far his strategy has worked. The big concern is when LSU is behind 1 or more scores late in the game and has no choice but to go to a quick strike passing attack.

Miles has invested everything in Jefferson and is all in. The babying of Jefferson is clear now. That is why he put him back in at the end of the game. He knows he is emotionally fragile.

Jarret Lee will not see the field in any meaningful way unless Jefferson is injured or makes several critical turnovers and LSU's back is against the wall leaving Miles with no choice.

Aside from the moral aspects of booing, LSU fans might want to seriously consider not booing JJ for selfish reasons. The pressure is getting to the kid and booing doesn't make things better. JJ is the starting QB at LSU and thats the way it is. Booing isn't going to make Lee see the field.

If both QB equally suck at throwing the ball, who are you going to play? The one who can run and can't throw or the one who can't run and can't throw?
