I had planned to stay inside all day. I just got a call from a friend. She wants a ride to go see her doctor. Neither she nor her hubby have a car because he has wrecked every one he ever had. It's almost noon and it's still 26 degrees. She lives close to LSU but her doctor in almost downtown on North St or Boulevard or something. The sun is out but I'm sure there are shady spots where there is still ice on some streets. She told me she just needs to run inside and grab her prescriptions. The last time I gave her a ride she was "just going to run into Hobby Lobby for a minute to get some kind of art supplies. She was in there for over an hour while I sat outside in 95 degree heat running the AC and burning gas. So should I do the humanitarian deed or go back to bed?

I wasn't going to take anybody's advice and some people got a chuckle out of it. I know a doctor who can give you a sense of humor transplant. His name is Dr. Vinnie Boom Bah.
