I had planned to stay inside all day. I just got a call from a friend. She wants a ride to go see her doctor. Neither she nor her hubby have a car because he has wrecked every one he ever had. It's almost noon and it's still 26 degrees. She lives close to LSU but her doctor in almost downtown on North St or Boulevard or something. The sun is out but I'm sure there are shady spots where there is still ice on some streets. She told me she just needs to run inside and grab her prescriptions. The last time I gave her a ride she was "just going to run into Hobby Lobby for a minute to get some kind of art supplies. She was in there for over an hour while I sat outside in 95 degree heat running the AC and burning gas. So should I do the humanitarian deed or go back to bed?
I asked. She said she called and he is open. Anyway I got out of it. At least one of her prescriptions will be for Lortabs or some kind of pain killer. I told another guy who knows her that she would give him some pills if he gave her a ride. She won't want to give any up so they can fight about it. So I have helped 2 people out today. I really am a great person and a true humanitarian.
