Make no mistake... this Hodgkinson creep should not have been allowed to own a gun. Here in Virginia, though, you don't even have to be licensed, and it's very easy to bypass any background check by purchasing weapons from non-commercial civilians.

James Hodgkinson’s first foster daughter committed suicide by lighting herself on fire

Who's your shrink I will call him for a reference. However I think Sigman Fucking Freud would give up and call you an idiot.

He could have legally purchased a gun in any state. His only conviction were for minor traffic offenses and something about not having the right contractors license.

But go ahead and do what you always do: Blame the gun and not the gunner.

Nothing could have been done to prevent this. But I'm afraid assholes like this are going to make it really suck for the rest of us who post our feelings and even go off the rails sometimes with words on the internet.

We are moving closer and closer with terrorism, foreign and domestic to becoming a police state. It may not happen in my lifetime but it will.

I blame the gunner and those people who have made it easy for such people to get guns. This is a matter of simple math: the more guns on the streets the more likely some asshole will use one.

When you say "those people" there was nothing in the shooter's criminal history to suggest he was any different from any other law abiding citizen.

But Rex, in the absence of a gun he may have done more damage with a knife, vehicle, bomb, etc. We can take the guns away but these sick bastards will find ways.
