Cam Newton was reinstated by the NCAA ONE DAY after Auburn suspended him. WTF? Is LSU doing this to force the NCAA to act?
May be on to something. I like the way you think. Wish they would have given the NCAA more than a week to act if that was the case though.
yep sounds like he was discussing the inquiry when he was told there was to be no discussions. the ncaa may have axed him for that and not the prior issue.
Randy Tweet: Russell Shepard's suspension is due to talking to teammate about the NCAA inquiry and he may be out several games, according to LSU.
The article said that he violated a rule whereby he spoke to a teammate about this issue, prior to the teammate being questioned by the NCAA?? It did not make it look like the housing was the issue? Is that correct?
Its safe to say that with what is going on right now, the NCAA, SI, ESPN, RIVALS, and every other reporting agency is going park a huge microscope over the LSU football program and dig as deep as they possibly can. This is some serious unwanted attention this program is getting and I dont see this going away anytime soon, definitley not until after the Oregon game and even more so if we win and look to be as dangerous a team as we all thought. They will park over us all year, and we will never hear the end of it!
correct. he broke a rule discussing the case with another player who was going to be interviewed by the ncaa (before they ruled on his housing violation). now hes done for most of the season it seems. we will appeal which will take several weeks to even get heard.
Do these kids not get any guidance from the coach or the administration? Someone should have told him, "IF they say don't talk to anyone about this, DON"T talk to anuyone about this". This entire thing is frustrating..... as a fan.
