He'd never have a chance to hone anything here. I think this decision is frustration at being so highly touted and rarely used.
One post and it's a fail. He was a bust because he never had a qb to throw it to him, nor an oc who knew how to utilize him. Your analysis is dead wrong.
I could mention another QB that feels the same way about the situation that led the SEC in pass efficiency, he was 9-0 as a starter, I am not going to argue between the two but I will point out that he never saw the field other than a kneel down role even in the biggest game of the year. What if Shep thought he had no chance to play next year because Les didn't play a handful of players on Saturday Night or maybe they played for a few plays. WE saw what the fallout was as fans but no one knows what happened in that locker room or what didn't happen after this game. Shep tweeted that he barely saw the field, just maybe CLM's and him got into it. The reasons could be endless, I am not trying to say I am right or anyone is wrong either. I was trying to make some sense to all of this, that is all.
If anyone can find a way to use Shepard its Peyton. I doubt Shepard gets drafted but I could definitely see someone (like the Saints) pick him up for training camp and from there who knows. If he shows a spark he might get signed. Even league min. is a nice chunk of change compared to any other job. In she's mind he figures he's not gonna get used anyway for his senior season. Why risk injury when he has a chance to at least make some bank. I wish him luck and feel bad that our offense has found no way of using him.
I hope this isn't a trend, players bailing. Either mentally or physically. And if there is such doom and gloom I hope clm can figure out how to turn it around.
Its funny, after thinking about I went back and changed it! I'm sorry my friend, I thought it further through and changed it tiga!
