I'm paranoid all the damn time, hence the moniker, but sh*t, it really seems like the fallout from Monday's game has not come to a head yet. Kids are pissed and ready to gtfo, but people calling for Miles' job are just phucking idiots. I'm pissed too, but his record at LSU is undeniable.

Nobody really saw Shep's true potential while he was a tiger. We were all pumped and excited to see him tear up the field but he wasn't used properly. I think it would take someone like Sean Payton to understand what he has and how to use him.

Here is what I think happened, I just thought about it.
First of all he wasn't utilized at LSU for probably several reasons, QB issues the last few years, heck, RR barely saw the ball the last few games.
I don't think the staff here plays the right "Style" of football to use Shep anyway, I have been reminded of what Crowton said months ago, I took it then as an ex Offensive Coordinator with an axe to grind.
I am starting to think he was correct, I don't think Shep had any future here and also when you consider he barely saw the field on Saturday night.
I could be wrong but it is as good as any reason.

Geauxtigs - I agree with you 100%, but look at it from his point - HE PLAYED 3 SNAPS IN AN INEPT OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCE BY LSU IN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME - THAT IS ALL THAT NEEDS BE SAID. He wants out and he wants out now even when I can promise you other people have told him what you have just said.

It is sad but there are issues below the surface that we don't know about and may never, but there are obvious issues. Let's just sign this class and then figure out what it is so hopefully they can fix it before it get's worse.

Sad thing is RUSSELL SHEPARD was so pro LSU, he recruited hard for us I hate to see things end this way and the way they did with J. Lee.

Or maybe he's thinking of another position?

My friend, I had no clue, notta.
I worry about other coaches convincing recruits that CLM's won't play backup QB's or other players because of the second half of the season or this championship game. Shepard barely saw the field and JJ played the whole game. I have been really awakened to some things that I didn't know to hours after the game or the next day. CLM's is responsible, it is his job and program, he will sink or swim. I love LSU and their sports and I still support CLM's, I hope people don't get a different idea BUT I am not sold on him 100% like I was before this game. I am happy he is our coach and I wish him well. I never thought one game could waiver me somewhat again.

Sad to say but the only chance Shep has to play at the next level is if he stays for his senior year. i don't see any team willing to take a chance on what little we have seen from him over the past 3 years. A solid QB with the ability to get the ball in his hands will be his only hope IMO.

Russell Sheppard has the talent to play at the next level just never received the proper coaching. I dont think it's fair to him to say he's not good enough to play in the nfl. You would be surprised what proper coaching can do. If he's not going to get it at LSU you cant knock the guy for trying to get it in the nfl.

I've been thinking the same thing, but with regards to JJ.

Maybe he's just pissed and doing it in an effort to vent some frustration, maybe even feel "wanted". Like the employee that's always saying they have offers/opportunities elsewhere when they get mad. What they're really wanting is to hear, "No no, please don't leave..."

Or maybe he said if LSU fans can do this to a player (JJ's treatment) I'm getting tfo sooner than later.
