CARTWRIGHT: According to the manual -- and I ask unanimous consent to enter this into the record, Mr. Chairman -- according to the manual, if you're going to classify something, there has to be a header on the document, right? COMEY: Correct. Case closed. You lose. Again and again.
Yes, we should all trust that LSUPride123 knows more about classifying documents than does James Comey. /sarcasm
Well Comey said the emails were classified so…… Think like a classified briefing. People say words. The words are super secret. But you can’t see words spoken can you? No. But the briefing is still classified. Or like a nuclear sub. They are also top secret, but they don’t have “classified markings” all over them. People who work on them “know better”. As Comey also said. Or is he lying again?
Oh but he did, she was the SoS and there is literally no way she didn't have classified information. It's like...part of her job. The difference is she never had the ability to declassify anything unless she classified it to begin with. Something she would have never done because she wouldn't have generated much because she's a grifter.
the marks are 100% inconsequential, when trump says a thing is declassfied, it is. he can take a map of of a terrorists house, post it on twitter even with the classified markings, and its fine. because its his decision. it doesnt matter the markings. i feel like 5 of us here have explained this 20 times.
Looks like the trump team has given up on the nonsense that he declassified documents before he stole them. Their Wednesday filing made no mention of classification or declassification, which aligns with the fact that never did they raise the defense of declassification all those months they were negotiating and then concealing, and with the fact that no less than 18 of his closest advisors have confirmed that they'd never heard of any such thing. (Not that a standing order based on a magic wand wave would mean declassification, anyway). His latest filing even calls for a Special Master with the highest security clearances to inspect the documents, which makes no sense, whatsoever, if the documents are already declassified.
