Don't know why anyone would be down on Eugene, he was the only one who didn't screw up the other night.
I've wondered for years if you can do both. I believe game day goes like we line up and practice. Weekly repetition creates muscle memory and that's what we end up taking into live action that week. The running game hasn't gelled yet and the d is leaking, but at the same time LSU is taking a pass first mentality to the game. Are they doing the same in practice? Nothing new to me, Just watching.
Is that it or is it that talking shyte is all they have left now that they can't molest men from opposing teams in public anymore?
Yes but you have to take into account that you have to take what the opponent gives you. You can practice something all week, but if it's not working or if something is working better you have to adjust. I wouldn't say our defense is leaking, it is just not up to LSU standards...yet. I believe a passing offense has been much emphasized in practice. I also believe we can run the ball if we tried to but since our pass game is working so well, we haven't needed to. Although, we did pound the rock in the 4th quarter against TCU. TCU will be the 2nd best defense we play all year behind you guys.
