Right. Wasteful spending a core Republican value. Call him what you want. A traditional Republican he was not.
I'm not trying to get an favors out of anyone. I mentioned SF because that's who you directed your comment to and that's who I agree with on this issue. This makes no sense. Expanding the government plan will make an inefficient program more efficient? That's moronic. Wow, that's rich. So basically, you're point is we already pay a lot of taxes and there's nothing we can do about it so we might as well expand government so we get more bang for our buck? Dude, you're losing it. You do that, and you pay more taxes and operate just as inefficiently. Please, please, please answer this question. Why not work to clean up the inefficiencies in government instead of growing the exact plan that is currently so ineffecient that it's going broke and increasing the cost of healthcare for everyone who is not in it? You are so jaded and defensive that you won't even acknowledge my point. You are jaded by government yet you think we should grow it, you are jaded by taxes yet you want to increase them, you think we deserve more for our tax dollars (which we do), but you are proposing a way to go about it that has absolutely no chance of working. I would love if everyone had healthcare, I really would, but we can't just ask everyone else to carry more and more of the burden. This plan not only asks us to pay for the uninsured, but also destroys our private system. I just hope you will realize it before it happens, but I seriously doubt it.
