Seriously...do we have a REAL reason why Lee doesn't play?

I am not disagreeing with you about JJ, but it's not going to matter too much if you put Lee in there. Les's plan is too completely destroy Lee and throw him to the Lions when LSU is down 10-14 points to a tough team. Les rides his ponies until they fall over dead.

The whole offensive game plan is a series of gimmicks, been like that for years, you are not going to cure this overnight, think more like years.

Then there was the situation where Lee was going in, helmet on and everything, then JJ jumps up and goes in and Lee sits back down???

Just straight up indecisiveness on our coaches behalf. It's like Miles, Gonzales, and GC are battlling against each other in the decision making. I just don't get it. Confusion is running rampat on our team.

Again...to make myself feel better...our defense sure is awesome.

D really looks good, not completely sold on Chavis but so far so good... want to see the next 4 weeks. So far they are doing great.

Because the 10-12 option plays we HAVE to call every week would only end up totaling 5 yards instead of 25.

Well I will be dead with a heart attack or a freaking stroke if I have to deal with this for "years". I remember when watching LSU football even when we lost was still fun....it's not fun anymore.

I feel as though I have some knowlegde of the game of football...and that's why I can't figure this kind of scheme out.

Maybe Lester needs to go to the Big 10 and we can get June Jones to come run our offense....the D is just fine. At this point I don't know what to think.

I know he's a classy guy and all. Nice guy. Good recruiter. Player friendly...but I'm growing weary...especially after his interviews. It's like listening to Ray Nagin.

It is mainly b/c LSU has the players to win it all, REALLY...

Also, our D is playing better than EVERYONE. Lights out.

yea they gave up 2 scores, but that one pic should have been a pic 6 any but the WVU hillbilly tripped on himself lol..

Our D will only give up points b/c of the lack of O..

Thats why so many fans get pissed.

This team is better than this...

It's really been like this for the 3rd year now, the offense was still putting up points and wins but you could see the issues in early 2008 in what I call, "ride the pony until the pony falls over dead".

Back then, it was the run straight head Charles Scott from the I over Guard-Center. The signs were all there but people decided to ignore the obvious. The destruction of the offense was complete by the middle of last year.

I am going to bed, I am truly sorry guys. Time to cut the cord, sooner the better for all, might hurt short-term but sometimes you have to do what you must.

This is a multi-year fix on offense, the team should still have some good wins I suspect. Great D so far and super ST.

And it pains me to say this....but Les stuck with J Lee for like 10 games that year before giving JJ his shot. :nope:

I agree....our defense is SPECIAL, but if they have to play so much because we can't sustain drives and give them rest then they will begin to wear down in games....and even more over the course of the season.

No one wants to see things get "wasted"...and that's how I think a lot of us feel. Great studs at skill positions, and no one to call the right plays or to get the ball to them if the right play is called. This leads to a stellar defense getting gassed late because of being on the field too much.

I hate the option play like most folks seem to. But it actually was not the problem this evening, and mostly gained pretty good yardage. From what I remember - I haven't rewatched the game yet...

I still want to see it used a lot less, though.
