Black didnt have a great game. He got beat noticeably a couple times including one that caused a sack and another that caused a fumble. The practice reports during the week were not great either. Coleman didnt play much but reports throughout the week all sounded positive. As for players in the SEC, McCluster and Ben Tate stood out. Tate improved his draft status considerably during the week and with his performance in the game. On the defensive side, Williams from Tennessee, Adkins from Georgia and Cody were the best. Arenas got burned on a long TD throw but he looked good returning kicks. Tebow struggled. He didnt look near as imposing in a pro-style offense. Any QB coming from Meyer's system will have a tough time making it in the NFL. Alex Smith already proved it and NFL scouts wont get fooled again. Bottom line, if you want to play QB in the NFL dont go to Florida. If a guy like Tebow cant develop NFL skills who can?
Only saw him get beat once, the one that caused the fumble, the QB had JJ syndrome and held the ball for a long damn time. Black did his job on the blocking assignment. Not to say that he had a great week, they are projecting him at 5th round or lower. Also, from what I have read Cody stunk it up, he was way overweight and slow of the snap. Others say he hurt his status this weekend.
Coleman did get a pretty good talk up after one play. Only part i can remember from the talk-up was the announcer said the best game he ever saw Coleman play was against OSU. Black looked bad. He got a bad talk-up from an announcer basically saying he was not NFL material or something to that effect. It was not a good talk.
