    He's not going to be re-elected because he turned against the constituency that elected him.

    You can call it what you want. I don't care for career politicians. This move shows me Spector only cares about number 1.

    Seems to me he was more concerned with conservative Republicans beating him. To me when its pretty clear the people don't want you around anymore you stop running.

    It was just a jester...he knew his vote wasn't required. He wanted to try and show he wasn't "lock step".

    And I wont rag on you for spelling that word with a j, instead of gesture. I spell shyt the wrong way all the time.

    200,000 Pennsylvanians left the Republican party for the Democratic party last year. So their senator did too, how more representative can you be? I bet both of you that he wins as a moderate democrat.
